Located south of Orlando at Lake Buena Vista, the 57,000 SF Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine is the last Marian Shrine constructed in the United States in the 20th century.

The Shrine hosts more than 250,000 visitors annually. The Nave seats 2,000 with standing room for another 1000 worshipers. Separate chapels seat 100 for daily mass and 40 for prayer.

The Basilican form and overall dimensions of the plan draw upon historical precedents of the Basilican Church of S. Peter in Rome, erected by Constantine in 330 AD.

Facilities also include a Museum of Religious Art, Outdoor Chapel and Rosary Garden. RLF designers have also participated in selection of artisans and themes for stained glass windows, statuary, mosaics and bronze clad doors.
