The 47,000 SF Medical Clinic provides Primary Care, Allergy / Immunization, Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory and support functions, together with renovation of an existing Dental Clinic. The design was recognized by an Air Force Excellence award in International Competition.

The design solution provides generally low massing with a barrel vault roof in complementary colors to surrounding buildings. The articulation of the massing follows the traditions of the southwestern style.

The facility utilizes passive solar control features such as deep overhangs, recessed windows, protected entrances and exits to minimize heat loss / gain and to shield the interior from the severe climate.
