RLF's first building at Rollins College was the Mills Memorial Library, designed in association with George Spohn in 1948. Since that time the firm has designed or renovated more than 20 buildings for this client.

Following the opening of the new Olin Library, RLF performed a major renovation of Mills, creating VIP lecture and meeting rooms, language and writing laboratories, offices for student government and the campus newspaper, 24-hour study room, stack areas serving as repository for government documents, college archives and a new student post office.

The design for the renovation recognized the need and opportunity for a southern entrance to the Mills Building, as the first step in creating an outside "Hub" for student activity between the Mills, the Olin Library and a new Student Center.
