Located east of RLF's Crummer Business School and north of the Annie Russell Theater, the Cornell Social Science Center presented significant challenges in blending with the existing fabric of the Rollins College campus in downtown Winter Park, Florida.

The resulting 38,000 sf facility includes tiered lecture rooms, classrooms, faculty offices, administrative and support areas, student laboratories, research laboratories, and a snack bar.

The interior courtyard has become one of the most used and well-known "outside rooms" on the campus. Departments housed in the Center include History, Sociology, Business Administration, Political Science, Physical Anthropology and Archaeology.
