The site for this new theater on the existing school campus in Orlando, Florida, was restricted by several site parameters. The site is on a 4-acre lake, bounded very tightly by existing campus buildings which completes the enclosure to the campus quadrangle. This facility, which is approximately 30,000 sf, is a compound of a 776 seat theater, shop, outdoor terraces on the lake and a 2,500 sf black box theater.

The exterior of the theater was designed to fit contextually with the traditional architectural vernacular of the existing campus. The exterior was kept simple with brick veneer and precast concrete panels and a standing seam metal roof. The detailing of the exterior components (such as the brick insets, entry gate, columns reveal and the clock tower itself) reflects eclectic design elements, which blend with the rich traditional style of the existing campus.
