The Florida Supreme Court Building was designed by RLF founder Jas. Gamble Rogers, II. It was one of four state buildings awarded to a joint venture of RLF and Yonge & Hart of Pensacola. RLF was architect of record for the Supreme Court and Florida A & M Hospital.

The Supreme Court Building was recognized in 1992 by the Test of Time Award by the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects and was listed in the 1998 National Register of Historic Places.
